A helicopter with two occupants crashed at Swakopmund on Monday afternoon.
With details remaining murky after the crash, it is feared that both occupants of the helicopter were fatally injured in the incident.
Sources said the crash involved a helicopter that had been in maintenance for an extended period.
The aircraft reportedly took off from an airfield at Swakopmund with two people on board.
A source indicated that the helicopter in question might have been undergoing flight tests before it crashed in the desert close to Swakopmund.
