Tses celebrates 40 years of St Theresa School

KEETMANSHOOP – Hundreds of people converged at the settlement of Tses, in the Karas Region, at the weekend to celebrate the St Theresa Junior Secondary School’s 40th anniversary.

The school, which has produced prominent national leaders such as the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Willem Konjore, and former Ombudswoman Bience Gawanas, has a proud history of being one of the first schools in the country to resist Bantu education in the 1970s.
