Top Score to support Naiti Combined School following reports of pupil using makeshift bag

Top Score, the brand behind Top Score Instant Porridge, has pledged support for Naiti Combined School following reports of a Grade 1 pupil using an empty porridge package as a school bag.

The image of the child has highlighted the poverty issues affecting local communities.

In an interview with The Namibian on Friday, school principal Vaino Shimutwikeni urged the public to assist the school in any way possible.

This prompted the launch of the ‘Instant Futures’ initiative, as announced by brand manager Diego Talaya.

Through this initiative, Top Score will provide every pupil at Naiti Combined School with a new school bag, each containing a pack of Top Score Instant Porridge.

Additionally, the company will support the school’s fundraising efforts aimed at improving educational resources.

Talaya also mentioned plans to expand the initiative to other schools across Namibia in the future.
