Toddler killed by cousin (5) at Okahao

A girl (14 months) was allegedly killed by her cousin (5) at Uukuvu village in the Okahao constituency of the Omusati region on Friday.

This was reported by police spokesperson Kauna Shikwambi.

Shikwambi says the incident happened at around 17h00 at the home of Auguste Iipinge.

It is alleged that the boy struck the toddler several times on the head with broken pieces of brick and the child died on the spot.

The young suspect has not been arrested. Police investigations into the matter continue, Shikwambi adds.
