Tjatindi seconded for managing editor job at New Era

Charles Tjatindi

Veteran journalist Charles Tjatindi is tipped to serve as managing editor of the newspaper New Era.

Tjatindi is set to take over from Johnathan Beukes, whose departure from the position at the state-owned newspaper in November sparked controversy.

Tjatindi currently works as a freelancer at the Namibia Press Agency (Nampa), responsible for news and commercial content.

He previously worked at The Namibian and Desert FM, the Southern Times, the Namibian Broadcasting Cooperation and Namibian Sun.
