Tigers elects interim committee

UNITED Africa Sport Club on Saturday elected five members at its annual general meeting (AGM) who will serve on an interim committee until another meeting is held in October.

The October meeting will elect a full executive committee and a supporters’ committee. The poor turnout at the AGM, which was called earlier in the week, prompted the people in attendance to elect the five members who are now expected to chart the way forward for the club, which has been operating without an executive committee for over two years. The members to serve on the interim committee are Onesmus Akwenye (chairman), Kelly Asser, Junior Nambahu, Linda Boumann and Donatha Gawanas.
