Three men arrested at Outjo over Florencia Jacobs killing

Three men were arrested on Monday in connection with the murder of Florencia Jacobs (21), whose body was discovered behind Sophia Shaningwa Fire Station at Outjo on 31 January.

Kunene police regional commander commissioner Eric Clay has confirmed that three men, aged 24, 25 and 34, have been arrested and will make their first appearance in court on Thursday.

“The Outjo police station has made a breakthrough in the murder of Jacobs and investigations in the matter continue,” he says.

Clay commends the community who provided information that led to the arrest of the suspects.

Outjo constituency youth forum chairperson Ben Narib told The Namibian the community will on Thursday protest against granting bail to the suspects.
