AN Ondangwa resident was severely assaulted and robbed of his property on Monday morning, after two men broke into his home in the Shinime Shiivula location.
The suspects cut through burglar bars of the door, beat up the house owner and stole a welding machine, two cellphones and his car, the Police reported yesterday.The vehicle was recovered later.Police have opened two criminal cases, of armed robbery and assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm.* A 28-year-old woman was raped at a house in Kuisebmond, Walvis Bay, on Saturday. A suspect has been arrested.
