Thieves steal from Ondonga authority

THIEVES broke into the Ondonga Traditional Authority Offices at Oluno near Ondangwa on Saturday night and got away with three computers and a fax machine.

Ondonga Traditional Authority spokesperson Boas Mweendeleli said the thieves broke into five offices, including that of the King of Ondonga, Immanuel Kauluma Elifas. He said the thieves were probably searching for money and other valuables but left with the computers, printers and their cables.”They also tried to get away with the money safe but failed to carry it out as it was probably too big and heavy for them to carry. They also, according to marks, tried to open it, but failed to do so,” said Mweendeleli. He said security guards working for the King Nehale Security Services Company apparently did not notice the thieves.Mweendeleli told The Namibian that the Police are investigating the break-in.He said the thieves were probably searching for money and other valuables but left with the computers, printers and their cables.”They also tried to get away with the money safe but failed to carry it out as it was probably too big and heavy for them to carry. They also, according to marks, tried to open it, but failed to do so,” said Mweendeleli. He said security guards working for the King Nehale Security Services Company apparently did not notice the thieves.Mweendeleli told The Namibian that the Police are investigating the break-in.
