The Valleys of Life

There are things in life we face that keep everybody on their toes, however, they vary from person to person.

I call them valleys, which can be from being jobless to being without food, falling pregnant, not having money in your pocket, feeling rejected, being diagnosed with a certain disease, depression – ‘valleys’ is a term used to describe the down or bad situations we find ourselves in.

In our lives there are so many, and they can also be necessary at times as they help us appreciate life to a certain extent.

When we find ourselves facing challenges in life, we should appreciate it because it is during those times that we learn a few lessons that we tend to neglect during our seasons of growing. Valleys are meant to mould us, build us and transform us into the right beings we are supposed to be. In most cases, we never want to change, until we are faced with a certain life situation.

We are all in this part of our lives where all we hope for is to never be faced with a trial, challenge or setback. Nobody wants that, nobody wakes up with an attraction of any setback. All in all, it is a well-known fact that these things are not planned and they come whenever and however, from any direction, but it depends on who we are during those tough times.

There is an old saying that goes: “There is always light at the end of the tunnel”. For sure, I believe many people can attest or relate to this statement because it has proven to be effective in their lives, after they themselves where faced with trials and tribulations once upon a time.

The great television hosts and presenters Oprah Winfrey and Steve Harvey on their shows spoke of the law of attraction and if you really have to connect it, the law works when you hope and have faith in a positive transformation or outcome from your situation.

You need to understand that whatever valley life throws at you, there is a lot of goodness in remaining positive. It is what you focus on that will either get you out to the peak or keep you in the valley. We have to know that as much as we go through different situations, the key is that our minds are our own solution, so let’s use the power of our minds to jumpstart us every time we are in life’s toughest valleys.
