The Roof Festival kicks off tomorrow

Oteya and Adora

Organisers of the Roof Festival say various talented acts like Oteya and band, Adora, George Longane, Berthold Mbinda, Riaan Smit, Vaughn Arhrens and band and The Ells will entertain audiences at the Windhoek Agricultural Show, from 22 to 30 September.

Torsten Krumnow, the managing director at Roof of Africa Hotel, Restaurant and Conference Centre, says the aim of the festival is to enhance the livelihood of the Windhoek show.

“The Roof Festival offers free live entertainment every day with spectacular artists and an open mic day where we give preselected new and upcoming artists a chance to showcase their talent. In addition, the Roof Festival will be serving a wide range of cuisine, alongside the famous gold award-winning beers crafted according to the Reinheitsgebot. We would need you to capture every memorable yet breathtaking moment of the show by all mediums,” Krumnow said.

Musician, performer and brand influencer Adora said it’s a great opportunity for her to prove her talent and creativity. At the festival, she aims to experiment and explore during her performance on 23 September.

“It’s an honour to grace the stage. I have not had the platform to in Windhoek often. I will be performing semi-live. My performance will be unplugged. This is a great opportunity where I can be out of my comfort zone,” Adora said.
