The Namibian makes it two in a row

The Namibian walked off with the Namibia Breweries best Print Media award for 2003, presented at a gala function in Windhoek on Friday night.

Radio Energy took the honours for the best Electronic Media institution. The award is given annually.The Namibian also won the inaugural award last year.A panel of 10 people from the Marketing, Corporate Affairs and Experiential Marketing departments evaluated media institutions.Criteria included quality, accuracy of information, approachability, pro-activeness and coverage.The News Editor of The Namibian, Jean Sutherland, accepted the award, on behalf of the newspaper, from the Breweries’ Managing Director, Marcus von Blottnitz.The award is given annually.
