The Hyundai Palisade offers everything and more to both driver and passengers.

This spacious seven-seater has it all.

No comfort has been spared – not even the last row in the back of the vehicle was overlooked, since it is easily accessible from the second row of seats.

Safety belts, charging points and air conditioner will make any trip a breeze.

The second row’s seats are fitted with armrests and can even recline for comfort.

The vehicle is also available as an eight-seater.

To add to passengers’ luxury the car has pre-installed sunshades to block the sun, or just for privacy when driving around.

Sales executive Hugo Arangies from Hyundai Windhoek says the vehicle comes with a 2,2l diesel four-cylinder engine all-wheel drive system, which makes it exceptional to handle in and outside of town.

The engine delivers a comfortable 142kW of power and 440Nm of torque.

The Palisade has an exceptional smooth auto eight-speed gearbox that sends power to all four wheels.

The driver can set various drive modes, such as sport mode and eco mode, which makes urban driving much easier and more economical.

Various terrain options, like mud, snow or sand driving are also at hand on the same centrally situated dial.

The car has no gear, but instead has easy-to-operate buttons for reverse, drive, neutral and park gears.

And just with the press of a button the car responds.

The car is also fitted with a high-resolution screen to assist the driver to manoeuvre it through corners and for reverse parking.

The 360-degree camera ensures the driver does not come too close to any object.

Another impressive and luxury feature is the keyless entry and stop-and-start function.

Car owners can even start the vehicle remotely, although the doors remain locked until the driver opens it.

This is to ensure someone else doesn’t drive off with your Palisade.

The rear door can also be opened and closed remotely.

Another plus is the amount of storage space throughout the vehicle.

The outside of the Palisade is a real eye-catcher. The 20-inch matrons complement the entire vehicle.

The massive front consists of a cascading grille that almost hides the headlights.

The daytime running lights extend downwards, making the front look even bigger.

The car comes standard with safety features, like parking sensors, airbags and driver assist.

“Overall, it is a very comfortable vehicle. Safety is very important for Hyundai. This is the new generation, and the first model that was brought in,” Arangies says.
