Thailand’s Suchata Chuangsri was crowned Miss World 2025 during the 72nd edition of the pageant, held in Hyderabad in India on Saturday.
She was crowned by outgoing titleholder Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic.
This marks Thailand’s first win at the international competition.
Namibia’s Selma Kamanya placed in the top two among African contestants in the Miss World Challenge segment of the pageant, which contributed to overall rankings ahead of the final stage of the event.
Kamanya’s placement marks a significant milestone for Namibia, with the country last reaching a similar stage in the late 1990s.
