A toddler (2) from Okaonde village at Onesi was allegedly killed by a 10-year-old on Saturday.
Omusati police regional commander commissioner Ismael Basson has confirmed the incident.
He says the suspect, the deceased and two other children (both aged two) were left unsupervised at a house at around 16h00.
Upon the guardians’ return at 20h00, only two children were present in the house.
The suspect (10) allegedly hid in a mahangu field after the incident, Basson says.
He says the suspect has a physical disability, with paralysis of the right leg and arm.
“There is no reported history of mental health issues,” Basson says.
