Telecoms blackout

TELECOMMUNICATIONS links between Namibia and South Africa were disrupted by a cable fault in South Africa’s North West Province yesterday morning.

Telephone and Internet services were down from 08h00 until lunchtime, disrupting business in many sectors of the Namibian economy.
