Teenager struck by lightning

A 19-year-old boy was struck by lightning at Karibib at the weekend, police have reported.

Bradley Nowose and a relative were fixing their zinc roof before it started raining when lightning struck.

The lightning bolt caused them to fall off the roof, resulting in Nowose sustaining head injuries. He succumbed to the injuries at Karibib Clinic where he was rushed after the incident. His next of kin have been informed.
