A boy (17) was arrested at Okakarara on Friday for the alleged rape of a girl (15).
According to the weekend crime report, the incident occurred between 07h00 and 08h00 on Friday.
Police spokesperson deputy commissioner Kauna Shikwambi said the victim was in her room watching movies on a laptop when the suspect, who is her cousin, entered the room and allegedly raped her twice.
She noted that the suspect has been arrested and police investigations are ongoing.
