TELECOM Namibia has cut international call tariffs with effect from July 1 as a way to make it more affordable to users; especially those who phone South Africa and Angola.

The average percentage reduction for international destinations is about 14 per cent; while tariff to calls to Angola have been reduced by 25 per cent and 15 per cent during peak and off-peak hours respectively and three per cent and six per cent on peak and off-peak to SA mobiles respectively.
