Swapo secretary general Sophia Shaningwa says the party will launch its election manifesto next month.
Shaningwa made this announcement at the official opening of the Swapo district office at Etayi in the Omusati region on Saturday.
“We will launch our Swapo election manifesto on 14 September,” she said.
Swapo is currently putting the final touches to its manifesto, she added.
Shaningwa noted that Swapo vice president Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, who is also the party’s presidential candidate, is actively involved in the process of finalising the document.
