A KEETMANSHOOP Town Council maintenance division foreman, who was suspended on Friday pending an investigation into alleged misuse of council equipment and labour, yesterday resigned with immediate effect.

The Council’s acting Chief Executive Officer, Bertie Reyneke, yesterday confirmed that Derick Singaram had tendered his resignation with 24 hours’ notice.
