Suffocated by sand

A 14-year-old boy at Oshingenge village in the Ohangwena Region died on Saturday after being suffocated by a heap of sand.

Police report that the boy, Markus Shaanika, and five others had been digging tunnels in the sand when one such tunnel apparently collapsed.
