Struggle veteran Akwenye dies

Liberation struggle stalwart and teacher Onesmus Akwenye has died in a Windhoek hospital at the age of 86.

Commissioner general Raphael Hamunyela, a relative, has confirmed that Akwenye died on 18 April.

“He was admitted at a Windhoek hospital and died on the 18th of April,” Hamunyela has said.
