According to the reports he bribe monies were paid into the foreign accounts of the concerned officials. Were these allegations ever investigated? Can the ACC inform the nation.Youth and crime* HOW about opening a juvenile rehabilitation centre or a prison in order to minimise crime among the youth? We don’t feel safe any more.* OH GOD! Has it now come to school kids, too? Under age or not let him make his own statement and be locked away. After all it’s not the parents who sent him to commit this crime. Let our kids not start criminal activities at an early age. With parents or orphaned, he must face the music of crime his own deeds. THE moral and ethics of the Namibian society have disintegrated. Learners are killing each other because they’re growing up in a society plagued by alcohol and violence.* PARENTS are partly responsible for these acts of violence among the youth. They give large amounts of pocket money to their kids, who use it to buy booze and drugs resulting in these fatal acts. These youths must be punished like any other criminal. How will all this change if we can’t teach them discipline? Stop putting them in the care of their parents and let them rot in jail where they belong.* WHY must the kids who commit these killings be placed in the care of their parents? If they can kill, then they must take full responsibility of their acts.* I WANT to comment on juveniles who commit crimes and are not punished, because of their age. I think that they must be punished regardless of their age.* THE only way to root out this evil of violence among the youth is to ban toy guns, knives and the viewing of violent action movies by children. Never mind which one came first, this is a hospital for God sake. Are health workers aware of the illnesses that might be caused by harbouring mice in your house? Now, what about the Hospital?* THE Minister is a political figure and the Permanent Secretary is responsible for the administration of the ministry. Hence all administrative (the PS) issues are in his court. If he does not report to the Minister, it is possible that the Minister will never know especially if he completely relies on him as his PS. Please for the sake of the Namibian people’s health and for the sake of progress and change – Dr Kalumbi Shangula must gracefully vacate his seat or he must be reshuffled immediately without delay.
