Simply You Magazine has announced that it will be hosting the sixth edition of the Simply You Magazine Lifestyle and Fashion Awards (SYMLAFA) later this year.
The awards aim to recognise, celebrate and honour the Namibian creative industry, highlighting the remarkable contributions by individuals and brands shaping the future of the field.
This year’s awards promise yet another night of glitz and glamour, honouring the talent and ingenuity of nominees representing the pinnacle of achievement in their respective arts.
“We are delighted to once again recognise and honour the trailblazers and innovators who are driving progress and pushing the boundaries of the endless possibilities the Namibian arts industry has to offer. The awards are testament to the dedication, creativity and evident passion of those who are making an undeniable difference in this space,” says founder Helena Ngaifiwa.
Adding to the excitement, SYMLAFA’24 will introduce its first-ever SYMLAFA ambassador, soon to be announced on the magazine’s social media platforms.
This year, attendees can expect nothing less than an evening filled with mesmerising performances, stunning red carpet fashion and the much-anticipated celebration of creative visionaries. A total of 15 accolades will be presented across various categories, including Male Actor of the Year, Female Model of the Year, Content Creator of the Year and the prestigious Diamond Award of the Year.
Entries for nominations will close on 31 May, with the final nominees to be announced on 21 June. Winners will be determined through SMS voting.
Ngaifiwa emphasises the rigorous selection process.
