BUSINESSMAN Martin Shipanga was on Saturday sworn in as the headman of Onandjamba village, a village under the Ondonga Traditional Authority.
Shipanga, the former chief executive officer of the City of Windhoek and managing director of Nedbank, was sworn in by the senior headman of the Amuteya district, Vilho Kamanya.
Shipanga is the second influential person to be sworn in recently as head of a village within the Ondonga Traditional Authority.
Two weeks ago businesswoman Martha Namundjebo-Tilahun was made headwoman of the Ohailombo village.
