Shindjuu to fight for WBO Africa title

ABMERK Shindjuu is scheduled to fight Athenkosi Dumezweni for the vacant WBO Africa Super Flyweight title in East London, South Africa on 29 July.

He goes into this fight with a record of 17 wins, six losses and two draws, and the confidence of a TKO win in his last fight against Robert Kachiza.

Shindjuu will step into the ring against Dumezweni of South Africa, who comes into the fight with six wins, one loss and no draws.

“The Eastern Cape is known as the boxing capital of South Africa, and to walk away with a win in the Eastern Cape is generally believed to be almost close to impossible because of the intimidating environment and fierce boxing crowd. But Shindjuu is ready and prepared for the fight, and will give it his all,” said MTC Sunshine Academy promoter Nestor Tobias.
