A 19-year-old man died at Eno market at Omuntele village after having been shot in the early hours of Saturday morning.
According to a crime report, police arrested a colleague of the deceased on suspicion of being the shooter.
Although the victim had not been on duty at the time, both men were security guards employed by the same company.
“It is alleged that a gunshot was heard by other colleagues who then went out to see. They found the deceased with a gunshot wound on the right eye,” the report says.
The motivation for the shooting is unknown and the police investigation continues.
