Searching For His Father

Searching For His Father

MY name is David Melchizedek Kandume (the only son of my father) and I am an Ondangwa resident.

My cellephone number is 081 258 9259; address: PO Box 2164 Oshakati; e-mail:lorewo@iway.na I am looking for my father. His name is Silas Nehova Kandume, and he was resident at Omeyataahekele near Omadano, a village about 18 km south-east of Eenhana in the Ohangwena Region. My father went missing between 1976 and 1980.He was taken away or arrested by South African soldiers. He has never come back and we have never heard anything about his whereabouts.Since my childhood till now, I have been thinking he might still be alive and perhaps living somewhere else in the world. However, the mass grave that was discovered at Eenhana town gave me some suspicions that he might be among the people who died there. In the name of the policy of national reconciliation, I’m requesting anyone in Namibia or from the former colonial masters who might know what happened to my father – Silas Nehova Kandume – to come forward and give me information about my father.Your information will either make me happy or able to forget, if he is dead.David Melchizedek P S Kandume Via e-mailHis name is Silas Nehova Kandume, and he was resident at Omeyataahekele near Omadano, a village about 18 km south-east of Eenhana in the Ohangwena Region. In the name of the policy of national reconciliation, I’m requesting anyone in Namibia or from the former colonial masters who might know what happened to my father – Silas Nehova Kandume – to come forward and give me information about my father.Your information will either make me happy or able to forget, if he is dead.David Melchizedek P S Kandume Via e-mail
