It was a wonderful affair at Private School Swakopmund (PSS) on Friday, 15 June as German and non-German speaking students gathered to celebrate German Language Day and the inauguration of PSS into the Schools: Partners for the Future (Pasch) programme.
Pasch is an initiative where over 2 000 schools network with each other, all having a connection to Germany. Pasch was launched in February 2008 and has grown ever since. Concerning the German Language Day, German ambassador to Namibia Christian Schlaga said that both events were important. “I am always pleased and overwhelmed to see how many people use their time and money to grow initiatives around the German language and culture.” attended the event and here’s a glimpse of what went down.
