School secretary, pupil get N$1 000 bail for examination papers theft

A school secretary (31) from Leinge Private School and a pupil (17) from Oneheke Combined School in the Omusati region, who were arrested on Monday for stealing national and regional examination papers and memorandums, were granted bail of N$1 000 by the Outapi Magistrate Court on Wednesday.

Their case was postponed to 26 February 2024 and the pupil was released under parental care.

The secretary has been identified as Hango Salom, while the minor pupil cannot be named.
