Samsung S7 Specs

The new Samsung S7 has officially launched and promises users a comfortable experience with their new and improved Marshmallow operating system (specifically version six for those who are keeping up with Android).

Space will no longer be an issue with the phone being pushed up to 32/64GB storage as well as a microSD card slot which allows the phone to expand to up to 200GB, like a mini computer.

Goodbye, storage problems.

Now that many are used to the Super Amoled touch screens, it’s no longer a promotional plus, but cameras continue to strike a good deal.

The S7 features 12-megapixel camera (in comparison to the S6’s 16-megapixel camera) with a dual five-megapixel front facing camera, which clearly means that the phone is meant for taking selfies, capturing unique facial expressions and making you look like a cover star every step of the way.

Sticking to its predecessor’s size, the new S7 is going to remain 12.7cm, and since the demand is growing higher for larger phones in the corporate world, maybe it is about time we get used to it.

For even bigger options, the Galaxy S7 Edge will be available soon for those who have a thing for big screens with a tablet-like feel.

Acting as a remote, the S7 will allow you to control your home applications such as your Samsung Smart TV, home audio and home appliances through syncing.

It has yet to be seen whether these products have to strictly be Samsung products or not, but time will tell.

If you happen to accidentally drop it in water, don’t worry.

The new S7 is water resistant.

For a long time, many users have complained about battery issues, but the S7 ensures that this will no longer be a problem.

Slowly but surely, smart phone users are phasing out radio applications on their mobile phones, so if you were hoping for a comeback of radio in the S7, you’re going to be disappointed.

With Wi-Fi, streaming and the use of apps becoming a big deal, it is not that surprising that mobile companies are choosing the digital route.

Look forward to a non-removable battery too.
