Former prime minister and long-serving Swapo member Nahas Angula says founding president Sam Nujoma was committed to working for the common good of all Namibians.
Angula served in the country’s first Cabinet led by Nujoma soon after independence.
“I hope we have someone who will revive the Nujoma spirit of working for the common good and not just self-enrichment, as it happens now,” says Angula.
“I believe genuine Namibians will continue to honour the legacy of Sam Nujoma of sacrifice and commitment, courage and perseverance,” he adds.
