The police in the Khomas region have reported the arrest of four suspected armed robbers who followed a businessman at the Blackchain shopping complex in Windhoek on Monday.
According to a police report, the businessman called the police, claiming to be followed by a vehicle while busy collecting money from his businesses.
“The police responded promptly and pursued the reported vehicle at the Blackchain shopping mall. After interception, the suspects, aged between 48 and 26, were found in the vehicle with one 38 revolver, a 9mm Makarov, and two reflector jackets.
“It was realised that the vehicle’s registration is fake, and it was without a licence disc,” the police say.
“All suspects have been arrested and detained, and police investigations continue.”
