Roadworthy Testing at Swakopmund

BEFORE YOU DECIDED to privatise the roadworthy test facility at Swakopmund, it took no more than two days to get a roadworthy test done on one’s vehicle.

Now it takes two to three weeks to get a roadworthy test done, and one has to book an appointment.

One would think when the modus operandi changes the testing of vehicles would be more efficient and faster.

What you have basically done here is to try and reinvent the wheel, resulting in a situation which is frustrating car dealers and the general public.

Clearly somebody is benefiting from this new arrangement in the background.

There is no other plausible explanation for this – especially since you have received numerous complaints from car dealers and the public at Swakopmund.

There is only one way to deal with this, and that is to expose the Roads Authority, unless you deal with the issue in a way that would rectify this chaotic situation you have created.
