THE Roads Authority (RA) has congratulated the new minister of works, Veikko Nekundi, on his appointment on Saturday.
Nekundi, who replaces John Mutorwa, has served as deputy in the ministry.
In a post on the RA’s social media page on Saturday, it said Nekundi displays “exceptional leadership, dedication, and commitment to the development of our nation’s infrastructure and transport network”.
“We are confident that under his guidance, the sector will continue to advance and contribute to the country’s economic growth.
We look forward to continued collaboration in driving sustainable infrastructure development and improving transport network for the benefit of all citizens,” the statement reads.
