SWAPO veteran and Namibia’s first Minister of Works, Richard Kapelwa Kabajani, died of heart failure in the Katima Mulilo Hospital on Thursday.
Kabajani left the country at a tender age to join Swapo in exile and was one of the pioneers of the South West Africa Liberation Army, the forerunner of the People’s Liberation Army of Namibia (Plan).
