Good morning.

It is my honour and privilege to welcome you all to this important occasion.

Today marks the official release of the 2025 national examination results. This day represents a significant milestone on our national education calendar as we reflect on the results for the Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary (NSSCO) and Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Advanced Subsidiary (NSSCAS) 2025.

These results reflect the collective efforts, sacrifices and commitment of learners, teachers, parents and the entire education system.

Dear stakeholders and partners in education, while I wholeheartedly welcome you all, I encourage us to carefully digest the results, celebrate the achievements, encourage resilience and reaffirm our shared responsibility to nurture the future of our nation.

To our learners, today marks the completion of an important stage in your journey. The ministry commends you for your dedication, discipline and perseverance. Regardless of the results you receive today, reaching this stage of your academic journey is an achievement in itself.

To our principals, teachers and school leaders throughout the country, allow me on behalf of the ministry to express our profound appreciation with deep sincerity. Your role extends far beyond the classroom. You are mentors, counsellors, motivators and role models to our learners. Many of you went the extra mile and worked under difficult conditions, often with limited resources. Your unwavering dedication, professionalism and belief in the potential of every learner remain the backbone of our education system.

To our parents and guardians, thank you for the encouragement, sacrifices, support and trust you place in our schools and teachers. Your involvement at home plays a vital role in learners’ success.

To our learners who qualify for institutions of higher learning, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to you all. Your individual achievement is a testament to your hard work and determination. As you transition into higher education, we encourage you to remain focused, disciplined and committed to academic excellence. You must carry with you the values of integrity, responsibility and professionalism, and use this opportunity to contribute meaningfully to national development.

To learners advancing to advanced subsidiary level, we applaud your progress. This next phase will require even greater dedication and critical thinking. Embrace the challenge with confidence, knowing that you have laid a solid foundation and that continued effort will open doors to even greater opportunities.

To our learners who did not meet the minimum requirements this time, we address you with empathy and encouragement. These results do not define your potential or your future. Education is a journey with many paths and paces. This should not be seen as an end, but as an opportunity to reflect, regroup and try again. With commitment, guidance and support from all stakeholders in education, you can rise again and achieve your goals.

As we announce the release of the 2025 national examination results, the ministry remains committed to strengthening the quality, equity and relevance of education. Our goal is simple: to ensure that every learner is properly supported to reach his or her full potential.

With that said, I thank you all and I wish every learner courage, confidence and success in the journey ahead.

Thank you.
