Rehoboth farmers receive drought-relief fodder

Farmers in the Rehoboth rural area received drought-relief fodder for their livestock on Friday.

The Office of the Hardap Governor distributed the fodder to the farming community on Friday.

The fodder includes 530 bags of lucern pellets of 50kg each.

The beneficiaries comprised mainly commercial, small and large livestock farmers from various local areas, such as Rehoboth Townlands, Schlip, Oumamas, Karanas and Aub.

“The drought-relief programme is directed and regulated,” Hardap region governor Solomon April said.
