Information and communication technology minister Emma Theofelus has warned that users whose SIM cards are not registered by 30 June will permanently lose their numbers.
She was addressing the National Assembly on Tuesday afternoon.
Theofelus said 2,1 million of 2,3 million users have registered their SIM cards.
She noted that Telecom Namibia has registered 70% of its users, while Mobile Telecommunications Limited has registered 90% of its use
