HEAVY rains have not disrupted work on the Tsumeb-Oshikango railway line.

Erastus Iikela, Director of Railway Infrastructure Management in the Ministry of Works, said yesterday he was not aware of any problems caused by the rain. Iikela said work on the railway line started in the second week of January, after a Christmas and New Year break.The project has been spearheaded by President Sam Nujoma, who has called on Namibians to work voluntarily on the line to speed up its completion.Iikela said work on the railway line started in the second week of January, after a Christmas and New Year break.
