The executive director in the Office of the Prime Minister, I-Ben Nashandi, and George Fedha from the World Food Programme (WFP) on Tuesday signed an agreement in Windhoek.
The agreement aims to strengthen capacity for vulnerability assessment and analyses and systems for early warning systems, the digitalisation of the newly launched electronic voucher system, coordinating food and nutrition security, as well as durable strategy support.
During the signing of the agreement, Nashandi commended the WFP for its continuation in working with the government.
He said the agreement would provide the capacity needed for the strong processes, systems and institutions the office aims to employ for effective service delivery in disaster risk management and food and nutrition.
