Prime minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila has been hospitalised after undergoing surgery.
This was confirmed by the executive director in the Office of the Prime Minister, I-Ben Nashandi, on Wednesday evening.
“The prime minister underwent a scheduled operation. She is currently recovering from the operation and she is stable. We wish her a speedy recovery,” he told The Namibian.
