The president is expected to be at the official opening of the MTC Kasi Vibe festival.
The festival will be taking place at Brakwater, at Paaltjies.
The event will run from 31July till 2 August under the theme ‘Celebrating our Diversity’.
The organisers have confirmed that there will be free transportation to and from the event with different pick up points, and urge members of the public to keep an eye on social media platforms for all updates.
Organiser Salmi Shigwedha says the festival aims to “empower talent, connect communities, inspire innovation and support brand building across Namibia’s vibrant creative and business sectors”.
