Post-heart op Blair to fly

LONDON – British prime minister Tony Blair will fly to Ethiopia this week, just days after a minor heart operation, to pursue a pet project intended to spur development in Africa, his spokesman said yesterday.

The prime minister will travel to Addis Ababa late today for the second meeting of the Commission for Africa, which he set up in February this year, Blair’s official spokesman told reporters.
