THE Namibian Police would like to notify the public about a firing (shooting) exercise which will be taking place at the Israel Patrick Iyambo Police College in Windhoek on Wednesday and Thursday.
As a result, members of the public who are in close proximity to the college will hear gunshots between 08h00 and 17h00, but can rest assured it poses no danger.
National police spokesperson deputy commissioner Kauna Shikwambi therefore appeals to the public for tolerance during the two-day exercise, and to take care of animals that are noise sensitive, such as dogs.
