Police appeal for help in forged certificates scam

POLICE are appealing to eight people who received Grade 12 certificates during 2000 to assist the Commercial Crime Investigation unit in a fraud case.

Several years ago a Basic Education Ministry official was arrested and appeared in court on fraud charges for altering some candidates’ marks before submitting them to Cambridge.
