WINDHOEK – President Hifikepunye Pohamba will depart for Moscow this week at the invitation of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.
A joint press release issued by the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Namibia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the Namibian Head of State would visit Moscow from Wednesday to Friday this week.
Trade and economic co-operation between the two states will be discussed, while a number of bilateral agreements will be signed.
Medvedev visited Namibia last year, during which the two countries signed three agreements aimed at further strengthening bilateral relations. – Nampa
