Pohamba back from Congo

WINDHOEK – President Hifikepunye Pohamba has reaffirmed Namibia’s wish to strengthen ties between Namibia and Congo-Brazzaville.

A joint communique issued after Pohamba’s three-day visit to the central African country said the Namibian Head of State held talks with his Congolese counterpart, Denis Sassou-Nguesso, in which the two presidents underscored the importance of strengthening co-operation in energy, mining, fisheries, agriculture, water, trade and investment, education and culture.
