Photographers Meet and Greet

Budding, established and aspirant photographers are invited to join a Namibian Arts Association (NAA) meet and greet at Et Cetera at the Old Breweries complex this evening.

The event forms part of the association’s regular networking series and aims to connect creatives to build community, foster collaboration and stoke conversation.

“The Namibian Arts Association invites a diverse range of participants to the photographer meet-up, including up-and-coming photographers, established professionals, photography enthusiasts, photography associations, educational institutes, printing houses, advertising agencies, photography retailers, its valued NAA members and the arts community at large,” says photographer and vice chairperson of the NAA Martin Amushendje.

The programme for the evening includes a discussion facilitated by Amushendje.

Key points of interest are experience sharing, identification of common challenges, and needs assessment.

“This specific event is designed to gain insight into the current photography landscape and to explore avenues for how the NAA can be of support.

“Additionally, it aims to foster a comprehensive dialogue that covers trends, support mechanisms, and potential collaborations,” Amushendje says.

Entrance to the event is N$20 and free for NAA members.

The programme will run from 18h30 to 21h00.
